Digital signage is a next big revolution in marketing industry. It has been doing and contributing to many advancements in marketing industry but it has no limits - now extending to connect costumers directly to the back-end systems to make it easier to work.
Bandwidth: One of the major data storage facilities being used is cloud and if the data being displayed on the ultra high definition digital signage player is fetched from cloud storage, the network bandwidth of an organization will definitely suffer a lot. To implement the digital signage in UHD and pull out the content from cloud needs a large bandwidth and prior planning for successful launch. Brand promotion: Digital signage boards are used at specific places to advertise like menu boards, at airports, office, colleges etc. These are counted to be as more than just advertising. These boards also serve some other purposes like: creating a direct link between the consumer and the seller, a better understanding of demand and supply, brand awareness, providing handful of information all at once, increasing productivity of the employees. Cooperation: As mentioned earlier, it needs cooperation from staff members, for creating the governance policies to successfully control the software. The other 'cooperation' will be from the systems. Earlier it used to work as a stand-alone system but now it needs to be integrated with back end systems, for some specified reasons. This will enable companies in displaying best and quick content relevant to the target audiences. For example, to regularly update the information about flights so that staff members and the passengers feel comfortable and do not miss the flight.
